Sony has officially released the first screens of the upcoming PSN Store redesign. It really looks good in my opinion, and the new features sound great too.
- Games, Movies, TV all have their own sections
- PS3, PSVita, PSP also have their own sections so if you only want to see PS3 content, you can
- Screen scaling so if you play on a SD TV, the screen will auto resize
- Slick new black background
- Smart search function, understands abbreviations and misspellings
- Filtering by content type, price, peripheral support
- "Hero" concept, featuring known high-profile characters with new game releases
- Search brings all content, including Themes, DLC, Demos, Full Game Downloads, Screenshots, Movies, etc
The new PSN Store redesign will be released on October 17th in Europe, and October 23rd for the US/Canada.
